In the petrochemical industry, China's oil industry has a long industrial chain from upstream to downstream, large enterprise scale and complex product structure, which provides market space for the development of IOT. At the same time, the domestic communication service and communication manufacturing industry have strong capabilities, and have the network foundation to establish industrial IOT applications. The domestic PC usage is in the order of 100million, while the demand for IOT terminals is far greater. Only from the perspective of potential demand for terminals, we can see that the IOT market space is huge

the development of IOT technology in China is basically synchronized with that in foreign countries. Due to the early start of IOT industry in China, at present, China's research on IOT application field is basically on the same starting line with the United States, Germany and other European and American countries. China, together with Germany, the United States and Japan, has become one of the leading countries in the formulation of international standards in the field of sensing. The wireless network standard WIA-PA and the Hart foundation standard WirelessHART independently developed by China for industrial process automation have been voted and recognized by IEC member states to have entered the international IEC standard system and become one of the three mainstream industrial wireless technology standards in the world together with the well-known American instrumentation Association standard isa100. On this basis, China is also actively promoting the research and standard formulation of industrial wireless network technology (wia-fa) for discrete manufacturing industry. In addition, at present, an IOT standards research group has been established in the world, in which China plays an important role, and a number of standards proposals submitted by China to the international organization for standardization have also been adopted

the development of IOT provides an opportunity for China's industrial structure adjustment. Since the reform and opening up, most cities in China have adopted the extensive development model of "Mei Lan with high energy consumption and high pollution" which is strengthening the development of new materials to ensure economic growth. However, with the gradual deterioration of the environment and the gradual lack of resources, there is an urgent need for new energy industries or new high-tech industrial clusters to support the next round of development. II. The bottleneck and breakthrough of the current IOT development

at present, there are three main bottlenecks restricting the healthy development of China's manufacturing IOT:

1. technical bottleneck

manufacturing IOT is not only a network, but also a complete system technology. The absence of relevant core technologies is the main bottleneck of its development. First of all, sensors and RFID are the key basic devices in IOT. There are more than 1500 domestic units engaged in sensor R & D, production and application, of which 90% of the chips are imported from abroad and reduce its environmental impact, while China's medium and high-end sensors almost rely on imports. Secondly, the application of IOT will provide massive data for the manufacturing industry, but it also poses a huge challenge to the current information transmission technology. Thirdly, with the application of IOT, the depth, breadth and order of magnitude of industrial information acquisition and processing have been improved unprecedentedly, showing the characteristics of mass, real-time, diversity and contained knowledge. The traditional database centric processing mode is difficult to effectively integrate and utilize. Only by establishing a common technology and key technology system with independent intellectual property rights and forming its own technology brand and products, can China have the fundamental driving force for the sustainable development of IOT industry

2. standard bottleneck

IOT is a three-dimensional world (equipment, computer and people) interconnected and integrated network. It has the nature of interdisciplinary and involves a variety of technologies. Therefore, there are many standards involved. At present, there is no unified standard system. With the deepening of research in IOT related fields and the expansion of research and application scope, the lack of standards and specifications will lead to chaos in the whole IOT industry. Over the years, in many traditional industries in China, due to the lack of voice in standards, industrial development is controlled by others. Therefore, in promoting the development of IOT, we should seize the opportunity to speed up the research and formulation of relevant standards

3. application bottleneck

although China IOT has some basic applications, the current domestic demand for IOT applications is still low-level, which is difficult to stimulate the participation and investment enthusiasm of all links of the industrial chain. The lack of light and stable application when loading large-scale industries has become a major bottleneck restricting the formation of the IOT industry, the breakthrough of core key technologies and standardization. IOT has a wide range of application fields, and many industries have strong cross applications. However, these industries belong to different government functional departments and different industrial chain links. Only by strengthening the coordination and interaction of competent departments of various industries and strengthening the cooperation of IOT industrial chain, can it meet the reality of China and effectively ensure the development of IOT applications in depth and breadth

III. future trend of IOT

IOT will bring innovative service modes and means to China's modern manufacturing industry. It is expected that in the next 20 years, the ubiquitous information-based manufacturing system technology based on IOT will develop rapidly, the level of equipment amenity will be greatly improved, and it has the functions of self calibration, self diagnosis, self repair, etc. the manufacturing system will present a situation of man-machine collaborative work with human decision-making as the main body; Make use of rich information support to form a more effective production organization and scheduling, increase the utilization of equipment, and improve the production efficiency of the manufacturing industry. In the development of Intelligent Manufacturing System Based on ubiquitous information, the intelligent level of equipment will be substantially improved. The manufacturing mode and manufacturing means will no longer passively meet the needs of users, but actively perceive the changes of user scenarios and carry out information interaction, and actively provide services by analyzing people's personalized needs

the research, popularization and application of IOT technology will be an important opportunity for China's industry to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. Industry is a major energy consuming and polluting household in China, and industrial energy consumption accounts for 70% of the total national energy consumption. Industrial chemical oxygen demand and sulfur dioxide emissions account for 38% and 86% of the total national emissions respectively. Therefore, China promotes energy conservation and emission reduction, advocates a low-carbon economy, and focuses on industry. It is an urgent need and the only way for the development of low-carbon industry in China to transform the traditional industry through the revolutionary technology in the information field represented by the IOT. With IOT technology, people can realize ubiquitous perception of the whole industrial process with low investment and use cost, obtain important industrial process parameters that can not be monitored due to traditional cost reasons, and implement optimization control on this basis to achieve the goal of improving product quality and saving energy and reducing consumption.
